Growing up in central Illinois, I developed a passion for art, architecture, and design, with a particular fondness for houses with character, like the Victorian-style homes I grew up in. Those unique and historic dwellings left an indelible mark on me, sparking a fascination with the art of living spaces. I followed that passion to a degree in studio art from Illinois State University and as the years passed, my love for architecture and home design continued to grow. Eventually, I chose to turn that passion into a career in real estate.

 

Prior to settling in Colorado, the twists and turns of life led me to live in six different states, including a few years overseas in rural northern Japan while traveling with the Air Force. I loved taking self-guided walking tours of the area and exploring all of the different types of dwellings there, from farms to modern Eastern-style builds. The joys and challenges of frequently relocating and finding an ideal living space in an unfamiliar landscape, often with short notice, have now become the foundation of my commitment to helping clients through every step of their real estate journey.

 

Today, my family and I are settled in the Colorado foothills, where our we find tranquility spending time together exploring this gorgeous locale and happily acting like we are tourists as we camp, hike, bike, and fish throughout the state. We love Colorado, its vibe, and the quality of life it has to offer, especially here in the foothills. The breathtaking beauty of the Rocky Mountains continually inspires me as I try to capture its awe-inspiring landscapes through my art and illustrations.

 

Beyond being a real estate agent, I also co-own a custom woodworking company with my husband. Together, we take great pride in transforming lackluster finishes in into bespoke works of art – a service I happy offer to clients when I can. I firmly believe in the transformative power of turning a simply dwelling into a dream home and I love working with clients to unveil the hidden potential within each property, co-creating spaces that resonate with their dreams and aspirations.
