The small town vibes certainly shine with traditional tree lighting events, shopping small, and local business owners that shift their services to spread a little cheer.

Festival of Trees - The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park

Friday, November 17, 5 PM - 7 PM and Saturday, November 18, 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

The Festival of Trees is hosted by the Conifer Chamber of Commerce at The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park. This festival highlights beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and holiday centerpieces. Enjoy the holiday ambiance while taking in the holiday market where local artisans and vendors showcase their handmade crafts, delectable treats, and unique gifts. This family friendly event is also one of the first opportunities to get a sneak peak of Santa and share those Christmas wishes.

Evergreen Annual Holiday Walk - Downtown Evergreen

Friday, December 1st, 5:00 PM -9 PM


Enjoy some small-town holiday cheer at Evergreen’s 31st Annual Holiday Walk. This walk kicks off with the traditional holiday tree lighting at Evergreen Lake House featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, followed by an evening of musical performances by local groups along the downtown drag. Photos with Santa and shop specials for your holiday shopping will all be part of this magical Evergreen holiday experience.

Farolito Lighting & Pinecone Ceremony - The Fort in Morrison

Sunday, November 26th, 4:00 - 5:30 PM

This annual event of ushering in the holiday season and honoring of community members is an evening of beauty and joy. Enjoy complimentary treats of Mexican hot chocolate and cider while you watch as pinecones are tossed into the courtyard fire, sending good thoughts and prayers into the night sky. Sing along to Christmas carols from the 1830s and 1840s provided by musicians and singers under the direction of Bob Klimek and other strolling musicians.

This special evening is one to experience, leaving all patrons with a grateful heart for the holidays.

Candlelight Walk - Downtown Golden

Friday, December 1, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM


The annual Golden Candlelight Walk is a memory your family can enjoy each and every year. Gather with hundreds of fellow carolers and holiday well-wishers and stroll along Washington Avenue with candles and song until you reach Parfet Park and enjoy the holiday lighting with the Golden Firefighters.


We recommend bringing your own candle or light. You may also purchase from a local vendor, as several stores will have them available.


Trail of Lights - Chatfield Farms, Littleton


Friday, November 24th - Monday, January 1 *most days from 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM


A tradition for many, the Chatfield Farms Trail of Lights is a wonderment of twinkling lights for all to enjoy. Stroll through the illumination of cottonwoods, boxelders, and pine trees that line the pathway through the Green Farm, Crossroads, Deer Creek Discovery Children's Play Area and 1880s Hildebrand Ranch homestead. The path is just under one mile with singing Christmas trees, an illuminated children’s area, multiple tunnel lights for that perfect selfie, and more. Yummy treats can be purchased along the way!

Note: you must pre-order your tickets for this popular affair. There is no on-site sale of tickets.
