My Story
Although born and raised in the Rockies, I was taken away for a while, distracted as an engineer and executive in the global oil and gas world for many years. But, eventually the mountains called, and I found my way back home.
As a chemical engineer with an MBA in Global Business, I have worked and played on six continents, negotiated ten-figure deals with oil companies, investors, and other diverse stakeholders, and managed environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk for the major players in the oil and gas industry. Afterwards, I delved into other entrepreneurial adventures of my own, including land-development and real estate ventures, subdividing and improving land. I’d like to think that throughout my prior careers as an engineer, process/production/project manager, and real estate developer, I’ve developed and demonstrated the ability to successfully negotiate and support complex deals and decisions at all levels while developing relationships with contractors across many disciplines and developing an in-depth understanding of local development processes and building codes.
Outside of work, settled amongst the Colorado foothills’ ponderosa pines, I love to spend time with my family and friends and often enjoy sitting in the stillness, just listening to the aspens quake. I’ve spent years living fully off-grid in the foothills at 9000’ elevation year-round, so I have personal experience and a keen understanding of what it takes to buy, sell, build, and maintain a mountain property. Perhaps more importantly, as a mother of three amazing children, I understand the needs of a growing family and of my clients’ differing real estate needs at various stages of life.
Now, I’ve found my passion as a Realtor®, selling dreams to others who are seeking a home like I was. And, as a Realtor, I use my wide-ranging work and life experiences to help my real estate clients realize their dreams, whether they’re selling to pursue their next adventure or looking for the perfect new home or property in the foothills.
There’s nothing like the Rocky Mountains. Welcome home.
